Our children are the future of the church and our community, so we take our responsibility seriously to co-labor with families in raising up children to be committed followers of Christ. Sunday School is offered to children aged 3 through fifth grade. Registration begins at 9:45 at the Sunday School Desk. Families worship together in the sanctuary, and then children are dismissed at 10:20 to begin their classes. Children learn age-appropriate bible stories and participate in games and activities. Parents pick up children at 11:20, at the end of service. All adults involved in Children’s Ministry are trained and have undergone background screening.
Beginning this Fall, we will host Family Night on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 PM for our BCC families. Parents will attend our Spiritual Formation program in the Sanctuary, while children ages 3 through fifth grade will participate in the BCC AWANA program in the Ministry Building. Middle School students will participate in Student Discipleship. High School students can join the adults in the Spiritual Formations class. Baby-sitting will also be provided for younger children. Our intention is to minister to families as a whole and encourage each family to grow in Christ, together.
In order to provide the highest level of security, we use a secure check-in procedure for all Children's Ministry activities. Using the computer check-in station located on the Sunday School Desk, your child will receive a name badge while parents will get a guardian receipt which will be required in order to pick up your child.
For even easier check-in, please use self check-in, which enables parents to use the BCC Church App app on their phones to check-in their child (click the picture to see video). Once your child is checked in, simply go to the Sunday School desk, scan your barcode and take your child's name tag and your guardian receipt.
