Who we are

Church is our home.

You have been looking for a Bible believing church, and you want to see it lived out in real relationships. Bethlehem Community Church is an elder led, non-denominational family of believers in Delmar, NY, near Albany.

You are welcome inside our doors the way you would be welcome in our home. We share life the way family does: leaning on each other, asking, supporting, and giving. If we are family, then where we gather is our home.

Our pathway

How you’ll grow here.

Gather in community to encourage one another, every Sunday and all through the week. Hebrews 10:25
Grow as family in the grace and knowledge of Christ through Bible study, groups, and prayer. 2 Peter 3:18
Go as a believer into the world to proclaim the truth, across the street and around the globe. Mark 16:15

This season

Christmas at BCC

Celebrate the birth of Jesus with your church family. Join us for Christmas dinner and the candlelight Christmas Eve service, and bring someone who needs a place to belong this season.

Hear the Word

Open God’s Word with us.

Every Sunday, Pastor Geoff walks you through the actual verses of Scripture, so bring your Bible and open it with us. Hearing God’s Word and understanding it shapes your life, your family, and this home.

What we believe

Grounded in the truth.

You deserve to know what a church believes. At BCC, we take our faith and our doctrine seriously. While avoiding legalism, we stand unashamedly on the truth of God’s Word.

We believe the Bible is inerrant, infallible, and God breathed, and it is the only source of authority for faith and life.

Elder led

Leaders who walk with you.

BCC is an elder led church. Our elders, Mike Hannay, Mike Keel, and Chris Luciano, serve alongside our pastor, Geoff Ekstein, to shepherd, pray with, and care for this church family.

Created for family

There’s a place here for you.

Nursery through 5th grade, with everything built to help you disciple your kids at home.
6th through 12th grade. Your faith is becoming your own, and you get to dig into the truth for yourself.
Bible studies, groups, and events that help you grow in faith and use your gifts.
Visits, rides, meals, and friendship for every season of life, including widows and widowers.
People who understand your world and are ready to walk with you through it.
Coming for the first time? Here is everything you need to know before Sunday.

Care and support

You don’t walk alone.

When life gets heavy, you don’t have to carry it by yourself. Prayer after every service, meals, visits, and help with food, gas, or a crisis come from a church family that knows your name.

It’s okay to ask for help. You just need to talk to us.

Prayer, every time you need it
Leaders pray with you after every service, and a team of 30 prays over each request you share. Ask anytime through the app or by calling the office.
Help in a crisis
Food, gas, or a sudden emergency. You don’t have to explain everything at once. You just need to talk to us.
Meals when life is heavy
When you are sick, homebound, or in a season of transition, your church family brings meals to your door.
Visits and pastoral care
Hospital and home visits, communion brought to you, and someone to talk to when life gets hard.
Childcare so you can come
If childcare is the only thing keeping you from a church event, ask. We will help, even in your home.

Get connected

Make BCC your home.

HOME@BCC is how you take an active part in the life of your church family. Every part of it is give and receive, because that is how family works.
Give and receive care through meals, visits, rides, and looking after our church home.
Share the gospel near and far through missions and short term mission trips.
Teach and learn together through Bible studies and small groups.
Greet, gather, and grow closer through events, retreats, and trips.
Classes for every age meet Sundays at 8:45 AM, right before worship.
There is no such thing as a non serving Christian. Find your place on a team.
